The NCI-Designated Cancer Centers list is the US government's roster of the cancer centres that meet the National Cancer Institute's standards for research and care: 74 centres in 2026, of which 58 are Comprehensive, 8 Clinical and 8 Basic Laboratory. Designation depends on a competitive P30 grant that must be renewed every five years. The list is maintained by the NCI and is public.
