Raffit Hassan is Chief of the Thoracic and GI Malignancies Branch at the National Cancer Institute. He is a thoracic oncologist known for making mesothelin a drug target, with work on mesothelin biology and mesothelin-directed agents including the immunotoxins SS1P and LMB-100 and the antibody-drug conjugate anetumab.
