GenFleet discovered fulzerasib, the first KRAS G12C inhibitor approved in China, and licensed it to Innovent for the Chinese market.
GenFleet Therapeutics, based in Shanghai and founded in 2017, discovered fulzerasib, the first KRAS G12C inhibitor approved in China, and licensed it to Innovent for the Chinese market. Fulzerasib, also GFH925 and sold as Dupert, was approved in August 2024; the KRAS G12C programme is partnered with Verastem in the United States as VS-7375, formerly GFH375, combination trials with cetuximab are running, and KRAS G12D and pan-RAS inhibitors are in development. OnCo links it to fulzerasib, Innovent Biologics and Verastem Oncology. Whether a Chinese-discovered KRAS inhibitor can compete in the West through a partner against the established G12C drugs is the open question. Fulzerasib has its own page.
Fulzerasib was the first KRAS G12C-blocking pill approved in China, for lung cancers carrying that mutation after earlier treatment.
GFH375 is an experimental small-molecule drug from Genfleet Therapeutics (Shanghai) in phase 3 trials for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and non-small-cell lung cancer, aimed at KRAS.
