The trial that showed Hansoh's aumolertinib roughly doubles progression-free survival compared with gefitinib in EGFR-mutant lung cancer.
429 patients, double blind. Median progression-free survival 19.3 versus 9.9 months (hazard ratio 0.46), consistent across exon 19 and L858R subgroups and in patients with brain metastases; published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology 2022. NMPA first-line approval December 2021. Aumolertinib has since become one of the most prescribed targeted drugs in China.
