Robert A. Fenstermaker is Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery and Director of the Neuro-Oncology Program at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is a neurosurgeon-scientist known for inventing SurVaxM, a survivin peptide mimic vaccine for glioblastoma that showed encouraging phase 2 results and advanced to a randomised trial in newly diagnosed disease. His selected paper reports the phase 2 trial of SurVaxM with temozolomide in newly diagnosed glioblastoma.
