Patrick M. Forde is Director of the Thoracic Oncology Clinical Research Program at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is known for pioneering neoadjuvant PD-1 blockade in resectable non-small-cell lung cancer, from a 2018 pilot study to leading the CheckMate 816 phase 3 trial that established neoadjuvant nivolumab plus chemotherapy as a standard.
