Built small-cell lung cancer models from circulating tumour cells and leads the Manchester institute.
Caroline Dive is Director of the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute and Professor of Cancer Pharmacology, working with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and Cancer Research UK. Her specialisms are liquid biopsy, circulating tumour cells and small-cell lung cancer models. She pioneered explant models of small-cell lung cancer grown from patients' circulating tumour cells, reported in Nature Medicine as a study of the tumorigenicity and genetic profiles of those cells. She now leads the Manchester institute and its biomarker centre, working across circulating tumour DNA and patient-derived xenografts. Her publications are listed on PubMed.
