Benjamin Besse is Head of Clinical Research at Gustave Roussy and a thoracic oncologist. His specialisms are thoracic oncology, antibody-drug conjugates in lung cancer and oncogene-driven non-small-cell lung cancer. He is a principal investigator in the TROPION-Lung and HERTHENA-Lung programmes, which test datopotamab deruxtecan and patritumab deruxtecan in lung cancer, and in trials of targeted therapy for oncogene-driven disease. His Journal of Clinical Oncology paper on TROPION-Lung01 compared datopotamab deruxtecan with docetaxel in previously treated advanced or metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer.
