The Clevers-lab spin-out that licenses patient-derived organoid technology and maintains a living biobank.
HUB Organoids, based in Utrecht, is the spin-out from the Clevers laboratory that licenses patient-derived organoid technology and maintains a living biobank. It offers an organoid biobank and services to pharmaceutical companies and is the licensor of the foundational organoid patents. OnCo links it to biobanking and tissue procurement, patient-derived organoids and the organoid term. Whether patent licensing helps or slows the spread of organoid methods into routine drug testing is the fair question. The organoid technology page carries the evidence.
