The small single-arm study that got tafasitamab approved for people too frail for transplant.
L-MIND, trial NCT02399085 sponsored by MorphoSys and reported in 2020, was the small single-arm study that got tafasitamab plus lenalidomide approved for people with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma who are too frail for transplant. In 81 enrolled patients with one to three prior lines the objective response rate was 60 percent with complete responses in 43 percent, responses were durable at five years, and the RE-MIND matched real-world comparison supported approval. OnCo links it to lymphoma, tafasitamab and lenalidomide. Whether a matched external comparison is an adequate basis for approval, and how the regimen ranks against bispecifics and CAR-T in the same patients, are the open questions.
