Leads the nuclear medicine group behind the first human TROP2 PET imaging, aiming to pick patients for TROP2 ADCs with a scan.
Shaoli Song is Professor and Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. Her department developed and imaged the first TROP2-targeted PET tracers in patients with breast and other cancers, with the aim of selecting patients for TROP2 antibody-drug conjugates using a scan, alongside FAPI, HER2 and PSMA theranostic work. Her publications include head-to-head comparisons of FDG and FAPI PET-CT in recurrent soft tissue sarcoma and in platinum-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer, and a study of preoperative FDG PET parameters for predicting microvascular invasion and recurrence in hepatocellular carcinoma. Her interests are PET tracer development and theranostics.
