Roger Stupp is Professor of Neurological Surgery and Neurology at Northwestern University in Chicago, having previously worked in Lausanne and with the EORTC. His specialisms are neuro-oncology, glioblastoma and tumour treating fields. He led the EORTC 26981/NCIC CE.3 trial, reported in the New England Journal of Medicine as radiotherapy plus concomitant and adjuvant temozolomide for glioblastoma, which defined the Stupp protocol that remains the glioblastoma standard. He also led EF-14, the JAMA trial that added tumour treating fields to maintenance temozolomide, the basis for the Optune device. His publications are listed on PubMed.
