Neeraj Agarwal is SWOG Executive Officer for Genitourinary and Early Therapeutics and Professor of Medicine at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah. A medical oncologist specialising in prostate and kidney cancer and targeted therapy, he was principal investigator of TALAPRO-2, the trial of talazoparib plus enzalutamide, and of CONTACT-03. His papers report the TALAPRO-2 randomised, placebo-controlled phase 3 trial in first-line metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer in the Lancet and the design of CONTACT-02, a phase III study of cabozantinib plus atezolizumab versus a second novel hormone therapy in the same disease. He directs genitourinary oncology at Huntsman and works on PARP and the androgen receptor in prostate and renal cell carcinoma.
