Natasha B. Leighl is Lung Site Lead in Medical Oncology and holds the OSI Pharmaceuticals Foundation Chair in Cancer New Drug Development at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. She is a lung cancer oncologist known for leading the NILE study, which showed that plasma cell-free DNA genotyping matches tissue testing in non-small-cell lung cancer, and for leading numerous Canadian Cancer Trials Group lung studies. Her selected paper reports the clinical utility of comprehensive cell-free DNA analysis in newly diagnosed metastatic lung cancer. A past president of the IASLC, she continues to work on liquid biopsy and health economics.
