Led NETTER-1, the trial that made lutetium dotatate the first approved radioligand therapy for neuroendocrine tumours.
Jonathan Strosberg was principal investigator of NETTER-1, which showed 177Lu-DOTATATE reduces the risk of progression by 79% in midgut neuroendocrine tumours and led to Lutathera's approval, the first radioligand therapy approved for a solid tumour and the template for PSMA-targeted therapy. He co-leads the NETTER-2 and COMPETE programmes and chairs the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society guidelines.
