Invented the FOLFOX regimen that anchors colorectal chemotherapy and founded the GERCOR and ARCAD trial groups.
Aimery de Gramont (Paris) designed the infusional fluorouracil and oxaliplatin regimen known as FOLFOX, showed its benefit in the pivotal 2000 trial, and co-led MOSAIC and the IDEA collaboration on adjuvant duration.
