Licensor of the GlycoConnect site-specific ADC conjugation platform, now part of Lonza and used by dozens of ADC developers.
Synaffix, based in Oss in the Netherlands and now part of Lonza, licenses the GlycoConnect site-specific antibody-drug conjugate conjugation platform, used by dozens of ADC developers. GlycoConnect attaches payloads at the conserved Asn297 glycan to give a defined drug-to-antibody ratio, HydraSpace and toxSYN complete the platform, Lonza acquired the company in 2023 and integrated it into an end-to-end ADC service, and 2026 brought multi-target licences with Sidewinder for bispecific ADCs and with Engitix. OnCo links it to site-specific conjugation and linker chemistry, ADCs and bispecific ADCs, to ADC bioconjugation manufacturing, to Lonza, and to the idea of platform designation for linker-payloads. Whether a shared conjugation platform can earn regulatory credit that carries across products is the open question. Lonza has its own page.
