Chinese ADC developer whose TROP2 ADC sac-TMT was licensed to Merck in one of the largest China-out deals.
Sichuan Kelun-Biotech, based in Chengdu and listed in Hong Kong as 6990.HK, is the Chinese antibody-drug conjugate developer whose TROP2 ADC sacituzumab tirumotecan, or sac-TMT, was licensed to Merck in one of the largest China-out deals, worth up to 9.3 billion dollars. Sac-TMT was the first TROP2 ADC approved in China, MK-3120 is its Nectin-4 ADC, and a broad ADC platform sits behind the Merck partnership, with Binghe Xu among the investigators linked. OnCo connects it to triple-negative breast cancer, to the TROP2 ADC roadmap that runs from sacituzumab govitecan through datopotamab deruxtecan to sac-TMT, to Sichuan Cancer Hospital and to the NMPA. Whether sac-TMT can repeat its Chinese results in Western trials is the open question. Sacituzumab tirumotecan has its own page.
