InventisBio, based in Shanghai, founded in 2013 and listed as 688382.SS, developed garsorasib, one of the two KRAS G12C tablets approved in China in 2024, and the third-generation EGFR inhibitor befotertinib. Garsorasib, or D-1553, was approved in August 2024, befotertinib, or D-0316, was approved in 2023 through Betta Pharmaceuticals for EGFR-mutant non-small-cell lung cancer, and earlier programmes covered gout and oestrogen receptor degraders. OnCo links it to garsorasib and to Betta Pharmaceuticals. Whether a second domestic KRAS G12C inhibitor can differentiate from the other in the same market is the open question. Garsorasib has its own page.
