Advenchen is the small Californian company that discovered anlotinib, the multi-kinase inhibitor that became one of China's most used cancer pills, and it leads late-stage trials of related compounds.
Advenchen Laboratories, based in Moorpark, California, designs kinase inhibitors and licenses them to partners. Its anlotinib (AL3818), licensed to Chia Tai Tianqing, is approved in China for lung cancer, soft tissue sarcoma, medullary thyroid cancer and small cell lung cancer, and Advenchen itself sponsors phase 3 trials of anlotinib and catequentinib outside China. Its records appear on ClinicalTrials.gov under the Advenchen name.
Anlotinib is one of the most used cancer pills in China, first approved for lung cancer after other treatments have failed and then for several rarer tumours.
AL8326 is an experimental small-molecule drug from Advenchen Pharmaceuticals in phase 3 trials for small-cell lung cancer, non-small-cell lung cancer and renal cell carcinoma, with its target not yet stated publicly.
