Arc's growing library of cell data, the fuel for virtual cell models.
The Arc Virtual Cell Atlas is the Arc Institute's growing library of cell data, the fuel for virtual cell models. It brings together curated and harmonised single-cell observational and perturbational datasets, amounting to hundreds of millions of cells, for model training, and it includes Tahoe-100M and scBaseCount. The atlas is paired with the Virtual Cell Challenge benchmark, so that models trained on its data can be compared on a common test. It is maintained by the Arc Institute and released openly. The collection is referenced by the virtual cell roadmap, the AI in oncology roadmap and the drug discovery roadmap, which traces the move from screening in mice to maps of dependency to designing in silico.
