Li Zhang is Professor of Medical Oncology and Director of the Department of Medical Oncology at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center in Guangzhou. He led the Chinese trials of PD-1 blockade with camrelizumab and toripalimab in nasopharyngeal carcinoma and lung cancer, and the early-phase studies of izalontamab brengitecan, the EGFR and HER3 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate from SystImmune and Sichuan Biokin, in non-small-cell lung cancer and nasopharyngeal carcinoma. His publications include the CAPTAIN-1st trial of camrelizumab added to gemcitabine and cisplatin as first-line treatment for recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma. His interests are lung cancer, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, immunotherapy and antibody-drug conjugates.
