Dongsheng Tu is the statistician behind decades of CCTG trials, including the erlotinib and cetuximab studies that changed lung and colorectal cancer care.
Dongsheng Tu is Senior Biostatistician at the Canadian Cancer Trials Group and Professor at Queen's University. He has been the statistician behind decades of CCTG trials, including BR.21, which tested erlotinib in non-small-cell lung cancer, and CO.17, which tested cetuximab in colorectal cancer, both of which changed care in those diseases. His publications include the CO.17 report on cetuximab for the treatment of colorectal cancer. He continues to contribute methodology for adaptive and biomarker-driven trials, with interests in biostatistics, clinical trial design and survival analysis.
