Haematologist and Senior Group Leader at CRUK Manchester Institute studying the transcriptional drivers of acute myeloid leukaemia.
Tim Somervaille is a Senior Group Leader at the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute, where his Leukaemia Biology laboratory investigates transcription factors and epigenetic regulators that sustain acute myeloid leukaemia. He is also a consultant haematologist at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. His group has identified FOXC1 derepression as a recurrent feature in AML and explored EP300/CBP bromodomain inhibition as a therapeutic strategy.
