Radiation oncologist who developed adaptive liver radiotherapy and radiosensitising drug combinations.
Theodore S. Lawrence is the Isadore Lampe Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center. He is a radiation oncologist known for developing individualised adaptive radiotherapy for liver tumours and radiosensitising drug combinations that target the DNA damage response. His selected paper reports individualised adaptive stereotactic body radiotherapy for liver cancer. A former chair of radiation oncology at Michigan, he continues to work on stereotactic and image-guided radiotherapy in hepatocellular and pancreatic cancer.
