A medical oncologist who has led many of China's registrational trials of domestically developed targeted agents and antibodies.
Yuankai Shi is Professor of Medical Oncology at the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in Beijing. He has led many of China's registrational trials of domestically developed targeted agents and antibodies, serving as principal investigator for phase 3 trials of EGFR inhibitors, PD-1 antibodies and lymphoma therapies. His publications include the pivotal phase 2 study of chidamide in relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma, the ICOGEN non-inferiority trial of icotinib against gefitinib in previously treated lung cancer, and the PIONEER molecular epidemiology study of EGFR mutations in Asian patients with lung adenocarcinoma. He leads the hospital's clinical pharmacology and drug development programme.
