Patrick Hwu is President and Chief Executive Officer of Moffitt Cancer Center. He is a tumour immunologist and immunotherapy pioneer who trained with Steven Rosenberg and helped develop tumour-infiltrating lymphocyte and gene-modified T cell therapies at the National Cancer Institute and MD Anderson. His selected paper reviews adoptive cell therapy for melanoma. He became Moffitt's chief executive in 2020 and retains interests in TIL and TCR-T cell therapy for melanoma.
