Margaret Foti is Chief Executive Officer of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), a role she has held since 1982. Specialising in cancer research advocacy, scientific publishing and policy, she has grown AACR into the world's largest cancer research society over more than four decades. She built its portfolio of journals, the Annual Meeting, Project GENIE and the AACR Cancer Progress Report, and her papers include the AACR Cancer Progress Report 2015 published in Clinical Cancer Research. She remains a leading advocate for federal research funding.
