A breast oncologist who led Chinese pyrotinib and ADC trials and studies of ctDNA in HER2-positive disease.
Fei Ma is Professor of Medical Oncology at the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in Beijing. She has led Chinese trials of pyrotinib and of HER2-directed antibody-drug conjugates, and studies circulating tumour DNA and resistance in HER2-positive breast cancer. Her publications include the phase 1 study and biomarker analysis of pyrotinib, a randomised phase 2 comparison of pyrotinib or lapatinib with capecitabine in pretreated HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer, and the PHILA phase 3 trial of pyrotinib added to trastuzumab and docetaxel as first-line treatment. Her interests are HER2, antibody-drug conjugates and liquid biopsy.
