Professor John Kennedy is Medical Director of Trinity St James's Cancer Institute (TSJCI), a partnership between St James's Hospital and Trinity College Dublin on Ireland's largest academic health campus. The institute describes itself as the first of its kind in Ireland, building on the campus's long tradition of comprehensive cancer care. He leads it alongside Academic Director Professor Maeve Lowery, whose stated ambition for the institute is to develop a comprehensive cancer centre with national services in areas such as genomics and immunology.
