Jennifer Litton led the EMBRACA trial that brought talazoparib to BRCA-mutated breast cancer.
Jennifer Litton is Vice President for Clinical Research and Professor of Breast Medical Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. A breast medical oncologist specialising in BRCA and PARP inhibitors, she was principal investigator of EMBRACA, the trial that brought talazoparib to BRCA-mutated breast cancer, and of neoadjuvant talazoparib studies in germline BRCA carriers. Her papers report talazoparib in advanced breast cancer with a germline BRCA mutation in the New England Journal of Medicine and neoadjuvant talazoparib for operable breast cancer with a germline BRCA pathogenic variant in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. She oversees clinical research operations across MD Anderson, with work spanning triple-negative and HR-positive breast cancer and germline testing.
