Melanoma and kidney cancer trialist who co-led CheckMate 067, the trial with 10-year immunotherapy survival data.
James Larkin is a consultant medical oncologist at The Royal Marsden and Professor at The Institute of Cancer Research. His specialisms are melanoma, renal cell carcinoma and immunotherapy combinations. He was a lead investigator of CheckMate 067, the trial of nivolumab plus ipilimumab in advanced melanoma, and of CheckMate 9ER in renal cell carcinoma, work that shaped first-line immunotherapy in both diseases. His New England Journal of Medicine paper reported the long-term results of combined nivolumab and ipilimumab in advanced melanoma from CheckMate 067. His publications are listed on PubMed.
