Principal investigator of ESCORT, the trial that established camrelizumab in oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
Jing Huang is Professor of Medical Oncology at the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in Beijing. She was principal investigator of ESCORT, the trial that established the PD-1 antibody camrelizumab in oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and of ESCORT-1st, which tested it in the first-line setting. Her publications include the ESCORT report comparing camrelizumab with investigator's choice of chemotherapy as second-line therapy for advanced or metastatic oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma. She also leads studies of other PD-1 antibodies in oesophageal cancer, with interests in immunotherapy and clinical trials.
