Led KEYNOTE-426, which made pembrolizumab plus axitinib a first-line standard for kidney cancer.
Brian Rini was principal investigator of KEYNOTE-426, the trial showing pembrolizumab plus axitinib improves survival over sunitinib in first-line advanced renal cell carcinoma, and of IMmotion151 (atezolizumab plus bevacizumab).
