A Springer journal for pathologists who diagnose tumours and other disease of the mouth, sinuses, larynx, salivary glands, ear and neck. Read by surgical pathologists, cytologists and head and neck surgeons.
Head and Neck Pathology, published by Springer under a hybrid publishing model, presents scholarly papers, reviews and symposia covering surgical pathology of the oral cavity, sinonasal tract, larynx, hypopharynx, salivary gland, ear and temporal bone, and neck. Its aims list new diagnostic criteria, intraoperative consultation, immunohistochemistry, molecular techniques, genetic analyses, cytology, imaging and uniform terminology, supported by proceedings and symposia from international societies in the subspecialty. The NLM Catalog records a start in 2007 with Humana Press, a move to Springer in 2011, quarterly publication, print ceasing in 2008, and indexing in MEDLINE and PubMed Central.
