King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill) houses the Institute of Liver Studies and a hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery service. HPB surgeon Nigel Heaton was a co-author of the 2023 British Society of Gastroenterology cholangiocarcinoma guideline.
