The China Anti-Cancer Association is the country's largest cancer society, publishing the CACA guidelines that aim to reflect Chinese patients and Chinese drugs rather than imported recommendations.
Founded in 1984 and based at Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital, CACA has more than a hundred professional committees and publishes the CACA Guidelines for Holistic Integrative Management of Cancer, released annually since 2022 with an emphasis on domestic evidence, traditional and integrative medicine and the whole care pathway. Alongside CSCO it is one of the two societies whose guidance shapes oncology practice in China.
