Stanislaw Klek is Chairman of ESPEN, the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, with a term running until 2028 according to the society's committees page. He leads an Executive Committee that also includes Cristina Cuerda as General Secretary and Stephane Schneider as Treasurer, with Matthias Pirlich designated President 2026. ESPEN publishes guidelines and consensus papers on clinical nutrition, runs an annual congress and workshops, and publishes the journal Clinical Nutrition ESPEN.
