Matthias Guckenberger is Past-President of ESTRO and serves on its board; he is a radiation oncologist at University Hospital Zurich. His research focuses on stereotactic body radiotherapy, the characterisation and treatment of oligometastatic disease, and radiotherapy for lung cancer.
