Igor Puzanov is Director of the Early Phase Clinical Trials Program and Chief of the Melanoma Section at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is a melanoma oncologist known for leading the first study of the oncolytic virus talimogene laherparepvec combined with ipilimumab, and for co-writing the guidelines on managing immune-related toxicity. His selected paper reports talimogene laherparepvec in combination with ipilimumab in previously untreated, unresectable stage IIIB to IV melanoma. He now directs Roswell Park's phase 1 programme and continues to work on oncolytic viruses.
