Eliane Piaggio is an immunologist studying regulatory T cells and immune profiling to guide immunotherapy.
Eliane Piaggio is Team Leader for Translational Immunotherapy at Institut Curie in Paris. An immunologist, her specialisms are tumour immunology, regulatory T cells and immunotherapy biomarkers. Her group characterises intratumoural regulatory T cells and the immune signatures that predict response to immunotherapy. Her papers include a study showing that PI3K pathway inhibition increases the immune infiltrate in muscle-invasive bladder cancer, a Nature Communications report that CD8+ T cell responsiveness to anti-PD-1 in melanoma is epigenetically regulated by Suv39h1, and a review of humanised mouse models for evaluating cancer immunotherapeutics. Her publications are listed on PubMed.
