Janet Dancey is Director of the Canadian Cancer Trials Group and Professor of Oncology at Queen's University. She runs Canada's academic cancer trials network, which has led practice-changing trials from PA.3 to CO.17, coordinating national and international studies across cancers, and she previously led precision medicine efforts at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research and drug development at the US National Cancer Institute. Her publications include an adaptive phase 2 trial using circulating tumour DNA response after pembrolizumab in non-small-cell lung cancer, a review of mTOR signalling and drug development, and the iRECIST guidelines for response criteria in immunotherapy trials. Her interests are clinical trials, precision oncology and cooperative groups.
