Claus Belka is a radiation oncologist leading MR-guided adaptive radiotherapy research in Munich.
Claus Belka is Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at LMU Klinikum München. His specialisms are radiation oncology, MR-guided radiotherapy and radiobiology, and his department was an early adopter of MR-linac technology for adaptive treatment. He leads research into MR-guided adaptive radiotherapy, modern image-guided external beam techniques, radiobiology and combinations of radiotherapy with immunotherapy. His work sits at the point where imaging, physics and radiation biology meet in the clinic. His publications are listed on PubMed.
