Led SHIVA, the first randomised trial of genomics-matched therapy, and heads Institut Curie's early trials unit.
Christophe Le Tourneau is Head of Early Phase Trials (D3i) at Institut Curie, Professor at Paris-Saclay and part of the UNICANCER network. His specialisms are early-phase trials, head and neck cancer and precision medicine methodology, with a focus on comprehensive genomic profiling. He led SHIVA, the first randomised trial of molecularly targeted therapy chosen by tumour molecular profiling versus conventional therapy in advanced cancer, reported in Lancet Oncology. He now directs early-phase trials at Institut Curie with a particular interest in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. His publications are listed on PubMed.
