STRN (Striatin) is a gene. In the public catalogues the evidence so far is association rather than a proven role. Tied to Thyroid cancer and Lung cancer. This dossier gathers the 0 products (0 approved), 0 trials, 0 pathways and 0 resistance routes in the corpus that involve it, with external identifiers so it can be joined to UniProt, ChEMBL, Open Targets and the rest of biology.
Calmodulin-binding scaffolding protein which is the centre of the striatin-interacting phosphatase and kinase (STRIPAK) complexes. STRIPAK complexes have critical roles in protein (de)phosphorylation and are regulators of multiple signalling pathways including Hippo, MAPK, nuclear receptor and cytoskeleton remodeling. Different types of STRIPAK complexes are involved in a variety of biological processes such as cell growth, differentiation, apoptosis, metabolism and immune regulation. Location: Cytoplasm; Membrane; Cell projection, dendritic spine (UniProt). Locus 2p22.2 (HGNC).
