EOMES (Eomesodermin homolog) is a protein that switches other genes on and off. The public catalogues list it as a fusion partner, and the evidence so far is association rather than a proven role. Tied to Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. This dossier gathers the 0 products (0 approved), 0 trials, 0 pathways and 0 resistance routes in the corpus that involve it, with external identifiers so it can be joined to UniProt, ChEMBL, Open Targets and the rest of biology.
Functions as a transcriptional activator playing a crucial role during development. Functions in trophoblast differentiation and later in gastrulation, regulating both mesoderm delamination and endoderm specification. Plays a role in brain development being required for the specification and the proliferation of the intermediate progenitor cells and their progeny in the cerebral cortex. Required for differentiation and migration of unipolar dendritic brush cells. Also involved in the differentiation of CD8+ T-cells during immune response regulating the expression of lytic effector genes. Location: Nucleus (UniProt). Locus 3p24.1 (HGNC).
