CytoReason builds computer models of human diseases from molecular and clinical data so drug companies can predict which targets and drugs are most likely to work, including in cancer immunotherapy.
CytoReason, founded in 2016 and headquartered in Tel Aviv with a US hub in Cambridge, Massachusetts, advances computational disease biology: it integrates human molecular and clinical data into computational disease models that give pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies predictive insights on assets, targets and indications. The platform spans immunology, inflammation, immuno-oncology and metabolism, and the company states that six of the world's top ten pharmaceutical companies use it, with Sanofi and Pfizer among disclosed partners. In July 2024 CytoReason announced an USD 80 million financing with investors including OurCrowd, NVIDIA, Pfizer and Thermo Fisher Scientific; the release does not name the round, so it is not recorded as a structured funding entry.
