CARTx Therapeutics, spun out of Nationwide Children's Hospital, is developing affordable off-the-shelf CAR gamma-delta T cell therapies from healthy donors for solid tumours and blood cancers.
CARTx Therapeutics uses polyclonal gamma-delta T cells from healthy donors, engineered with chimeric antigen receptors, to make allogeneic cell therapies that do not need to be manufactured from each patient, aiming at lower cost and faster access for solid tumours and blood cancers.
