It was the first cancer centre outside the United States to earn Joint Commission International disease-specific accreditation for oncology, has one of the region's largest paediatric oncology and bone marrow transplant programmes with St. Jude affiliation, and runs a hereditary cancer clinic, a phase 1 unit, PET-CT and radioligand therapy, and Jordan's tobacco control research.
