Its organised colorectal screening programme, studied by Douglas Corley and colleagues, showed that population-wide FIT outreach roughly doubled screening uptake and halved colorectal cancer deaths within the health plan; the Breast Cancer Surveillance Consortium and the Cancer Research Network have anchored national studies of mammography performance and screening intervals. Kaiser cohorts have measured HPV vaccine effectiveness, aspirin and statin associations with cancer, and survivorship outcomes (the Pathways breast cancer cohort).
